1. What is the process of obtaining DSC from certifying Authority?

Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) candidates will directly approach Certifying Authorities (CAs) with original supporting documents, and self-attested copies are enough during this case

• DSCs may also be obtained, where offered by CA, victimization Aadhar eKYC based mostly authentication, and supporting documents don't seem to be needed during this case

• A letter/certificate issued by a Bank containing the DSC applicant’s data as maintained within the Bank information may be accepted. Such letter/certificate ought to be certified by the managing director .

Class 2 Digital signature

As e-filing is made compulsory in ROC, every director / signing authority needs to have their Digital Signature Certificate. Its now mandatory to obtain Class-2 or Class-2 with PAN Encryption Digital Signature Certificate for any person who is required to sign manual documents and returns filed with ROC as per MCA21. Also an Individual is required to obtain Class 2 digital signature with PAN Encryption for e-filing his return with Income Tax, India.
